Supporting women through loss and hard times
RestoreHER is a safe and nurturing space for women looking for psychological support, physical wellness and community connection.
A message from our CEO
You have landed in a space that is very close to my heart, and one that has been birthed as a result of my own lived experience and developed collaboratively with a team of highly experienced clinicians.
As a woman there are many changing cycles and seasons that we find ourselves in. However, for some of us, there are moments that shake us to the core and leave us trying to put the pieces of change back together again.
The Japanese have an artform known as Kintsugi. This ancient practice takes broken pottery and delicately weaves gold-infused compound to restore the potted vessel. Once complete, the tiny gold lines that pattern the object add a beauty and value far beyond the original piece. This practice aligns closely with the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, that is to find beauty that exists within the imperfect.
I know it may seem insurmountable or hard to imagine that beauty exists within your circumstance. But I want to encourage you that you are not alone and there is a gold thread of hope and healing.
I personally have stood with the world in pieces at my feet, wondering if it would ever be possible to restore the brokeness, or find beauty in the chaos. My story is weaved with heartbreaking loss, and gold thread. I believe your experience matters and your unique situation can become a Wabi Sabi story of gold-filled beauty in an imperfect situation.
No matter what brought you to RestoreHER, or where you find yourself in your healing journey, I am so glad that you have found your way to a place that is designed to support your restoration process.
I hope RestoreHER can be a part of your own kintsugi and support you to build beauty and healing back into your life.

Physical and mental wellness is intrinsically linked with diet and exercise have a significant impact on your mood, as well as your body.
We support your healing process by helping you nurture your body.

Social withdrawal and disconnection can be a natural survival, but it can lead an increase in stress and reduced ability to cope with day-to-day situations.
We facilitate connection with other women in ways that are flexible and non-confrontational depending on your social readiness.
Welfare Security

We know that every person’s need is unique, so we strive to provide low-cost services, as well a\s support you to connect and navigate practical social support systems.
Relaxation
Women are caregivers and nurturers but will often sacrifice their own self-care and relaxation when they are experiencing the demands that come with a major change.
We believe there are many simple and accessible ways to weave relaxation into your every day and provide you with access to relaxation tools and services.
Grief is the story of love after loss. It is not a state or a moment in time or a single emotion. It unfolds and evolves over time
